Project Feline approved for Epic MegaGrant!
I am pleased to announce that Project Feline was approved for funding from the Epic MegaGrants program!
It was a huge milestone for me to see this project go from a game I was making in my bedroom to a game I'm still making in my bedroom but with a little bit of money now 😊
But with mo money comes mo responsibility. For the last several weeks I've had to put development on hold and sort out business paperwork, budgeting, taxes, contracts and NDA's. I'm in talks with a level designer to help breath some more life into Project Feline's world. If things go well, we'll be in for an exciting 2022!
But I couldn't have accomplished any of this without the support from all of you. With your continued encouragement and support I was able to put together a prototype good enough for Epic Games to raise an eyebrow at. I never imagined in my wildest dreams that Epic Games, the creators of Unreal Engine, would even see the project yet alone decide to fund part of it.
I'm also working on the next devlog, which will look in-depth development process behind the new map "Calder's Mission" I released alongside build 0.11 in November. I'll also be formally introducing Calder as a character in this episode.
That's all for now, thank you ❤️
